Anerobic Digestion is well suited to wet agricultural wastes, residues, and crops, and is an efficient way to make use of materials that would otherwise not be used. The Biogas produced can be used for heating or to generate electricity however this gas is acidic and requries specialised lubricants to ensure the longevity of your machinery.

Carr's Billington can supply the following lubricants:

Nateria MH 40 is a low-ash (<0.5%) detergent mineral oil for natural gas engines. This oil is recommended for the lubrication of modern natural gas fueled spark-ignited engines that require ash content between 0.35 % and 0.5 %. These engines are generally used in cogeneration (CHP = combined heat and power) power plants, standard power plants, gas compression, etc.

NATERIA MH meets the technical requirements of all major manufacturers, and the following homologations have been granted:

  • CATERPILLAR ENERGY SOLUTIONS (CG132, CG170, CG260)
  • GE–JENBACHER (2, 3, 4B, 6C, 6E engines)
  • MAN (M3271-2)
  • MTU (400BR & 4000 series)
  • WARTSILA (W25SG, W28SG, W180SG, W22SG)

Nateria MJ 40 is a medium-ash (<1%) detergent mineral oil for spark-ignited and dual fuel gas engines and biogas engines. Ideal for engines running specially on untreated biogas, sewage, and landfill gases, or where higher ash levels are preferred for optimised piston head life and valve recession control.

NATERIA MJ 40 meets the technical requirements of all major manufacturers, and the following homologations have been granted:

  • CATERPILLAR ENERGY SOLUTIONS (CG132, CG170, CG260)
  • GE–JENBACHER (2B, 2C, 3B, 3C engines)
  • MAN (M3271-4)
  • MTU (all 400BR series & 4000 L62FB only)
  • MWM (TCG20-16/-20/-32)
  • TEDOM (Cento series)
