Mixing Rate
200 gram of Lactovis mixed with 800ml water to make 1 litre of mixed milk

Outstanding growth rates proven in performance trials.

Mixing

Lactovis mixes in warm or cold water: add the powder to water and whisk briskly.

  • Mix 200 gms of Lactovis with 800ml water to make 1 litre of mixed milk.
  • For cold ad-lib systems - mix and feed cold
  • Mix 2lbs of Lactovis with water to make 1 gallon of mixed milk  4oz per pint of mixed milk.
  • Lactovis is suitable for feeding to goat kids at a mixing rate of 150g per litre of mixed milk
  • Feeding temperature - for warm feeding systems feed at 39ºC.
 

Feeding Systems

Restricted warm feeding

Colostrum should be offered at 50ml/kg live weight per feed and a minimum of 210ml/kg live weight within the first 24 hours.  Weaning will normally take place at 5-6 weeks and may be abrupt or gradual, depending on preference.

 

Cold Ad-Lib Feeding
