Mixed Poultry Grit consists of two types of grit: insoluble hard grit and soluble soft calcium grit, that are necessary to keep your poultry birds in top condition. The insoluble hard grit aids digestion by acting as a grinding agent to break down food, whilst the soluble soft calcium grit dissolves in the bird's system, aiding the production of strong shelled eggs.
