Carr’s Billington are seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Manager to lead and develop the Parts Department within our newly opened branch at Stranraer.

Duties

To manage and develop an Agricultural Machinery Parts Department, supporting the needs of our customers and internal teams across the full product range offered by Carr’s Billington. Including: Massey Ferguson, Krone, Weidemann, Teagle, Ovlac and Stihl to name a few.

You will join an established team of experienced staff already employed within a large and progressive company and be responsible for all aspects of work within the department including: Telesales, Counter service, Parts identification, Goods Inwards, Stocktaking, Retail area stocking and preparation, deliveries, workshop service and parts support and a variety of other duties.

You will lead the parts department, working for the General Manager, and be responsible for growing sales and supporting the Workshop in line with company aspirations.

In addition to our key franchises, we also supply parts and accessories for any make and model of Agricultural Machinery along with Domestic and Professional Groundcare Equipment.

Qualities

Knowledge of the Agricultural Industry and Machinery in general is very desirable along with previous parts/management experience. A positive attitude, keen eye for detail, resourceful nature and willingness to learn coupled with a desire to forge a long-term career within a large and well-respected employer is a must!

Full training will be offered to the right candidate.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5pm and Saturday cover from 9-12am on a rota basis, governed by seasonal demands. Additional hours required as per business needs.
