Please note this Policy applies to DAMAGED GOODS ONLY.
This policy also only applies to purchases made online via our company website (www.carrs-billington.com). It does not refer to goods purchased via our network of branches or through any other channels, such as merchants or agents representing Carrs Billington Agriculture (Sales) Ltd.
While every effort is made to ensure that goods reach you in perfect condition, on occasion faulty or damaged goods may need to be returned for a replacement or a full refund.
In the first instance, we will endeavour to replace any item that is deemed faulty. In most cases we can offer a like for like replacement, however if the item being returned is no longer in stock or no longer manufactured and available from our suppliers we will refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.
Please note that we are unable to offer a refund or replacement on items that have been damaged through wrongful or inappropriate use, not following instructions or normal wear and tear.
You have 7 working days from delivery to return any faulty items. We ask that you contact us immediately regarding any faulty or damaged items to arrange their return. Return enquiries MUST be made via e-mail in the first instance to ensure that your return is dealt with swiftly.
Please note that we will not accept delivery returns on any itemthat has not been issued with the appropriate (RMA) Return Material Authorisation form. Upon satisfying ourselves that goods are faulty or damaged, we will issue an RMA number via e-mail. This RMA number must be clear and present on the RMA Form and attached to the outside of any packaging/box before we can sign for and accept the damaged goods at our returns address.
Should goods arrive damaged in transit and the damage is apparent, we ask that you note this on the delivery note. Please notify us immediately so that we can arrange return and a replacement or refund will be issued. Please note that all such items for return must be accompanied by the original packaging and all relevant RMA documentation.
In the event that you have to return your purchase within the stated 7 working day notification period we will process the replacement or refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day you have given notice of your cancellation. In this case, we will refund the price of the product in full, including the cost of sending the item to you. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
For reasons other than the product is defective we will examine the returned product and will notify you of your refund if deemed appropriate via e-mail, telephone or other appropriate means within a reasonable period of time. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day we confirmed to you via e-mail that you were entitled to a refund. Products returned by you because of a defect will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to you and the cost incurred by you in returning the item to us.
Procedure for RETURNING A PRODUCT:
1. E-mail email@example.com with the subject line – “Request for RMA Number”
2. Detail in the main e-mail a brief message stating the reason for return
3. We will send you an e-mail confirmation to let you know we are dealing with your request
4. When we have processed the correspondence we will send via e-mail an RMA number which MUST be filled out on the RMA form (this will also detail our return shipping address)
5. Pack up the product ensuring that all relevant documentation, tags, packaging, and the product itself are securely packaged
6. Download, Print and complete the RMA Form from our returns section
7. Attach the RMA form to the packaging securely and ship back to our returns address which is clearly stated on the RMA form
