Carrs Billington Agriculture has been formed to encompass
the economies of scale blended to the maintenance of close
customer relationship; the latter being fundamental
to a ‘partnership’ between customer
and supplier.
The
company (formed from a merging of Carrs Agriculture
Ltd, Billington Agriculture Ltd, and AF Feeds), allows
for an efficiency of cost control together with improved
efficiency of distribution and administration, all
of which ensures enhanced customer service.
The
concept of supplying ‘All the farmers needs’ in ‘One
Stop Shopping’ is taken a stage further
with an expanded network of branches (to fourteen)
serving the Midlands, the North of England and Scotland.
These
branches not only facilitate easy access to a very
wide range of products (including, feed, machinery,
machinery parts, fertiliser, animal health, agrochemicals,
horticultural and sundry retail) but also help engender amicable
trading relationships with skilled staff.
Carrs
Billington takes very seriously its responsibility
as a participant in the human food chain. It supports
entirely the movement to satisfy the final consumer
with an assurance of quality and traceability. All
the company’s procedures and activities are
